Robber Gives Up After Waiting 20 Minutes for Service

A WOULD-BE ROBBER who wanted to hold up a German post office lost his patience and left after waiting more than 20 minutes for service.
A woman who was waiting alone to be served at the post office in Birkenwerder told police the man burst into the room but could not find a member of staff to help him.
After threatening the terrified woman with a hand gun, the man had no option but to wait patiently for counter service.
But after more than 20 minutes of standing by the counter the furious man left - making his getaway on a bicycle.
